Have you ever had a single day that completely changed the trajectory of your life? For me, that day was way back in 2005. I had just taken my first plane ride, traveled 2,000 miles from home, and landed in Maracaibo, Venezuela. I thought I was simply starting the first day of a summer internship serving with a local ministry. Instead, God used that day to change two things forever: where I would spend the rest of my life, and who I would spend it with. That was the day I met Katie, who had just taken the same journey and was serving in the same role. It was also the first day of a lifelong calling, to serve the global church. Katie and I got married in 2010, and in 2018 we moved our family to Scotland to serve the church in the UK. In between, we adopted our son, Abel.

I moved to Scotland with a desire to find, develop, and empower leaders to share the hope of Jesus. My desire was to join in the work God was already doing in the UK. That’s why I was so thrilled to come across AT3 and eager to join the AT3 team. The church in the UK is at a crisis point and desperately needs more leaders who have been trained and empowered to share the good news about Jesus. There is a rising desire here to see churches planted and revitalized, but there aren’t enough leaders to fulfill that vision. That’s why AT3’s desire and ability to launch leaders into ministry is so important. With AT3, I’ll be walking alongside emerging and seasoned leaders to help them discover and cultivate the calling God has for their lives. I hope I can be a part of facilitating days that change the trajectory of the lives of others.

Whether you’re in the US, UK, or somewhere else, maybe AT3 can play a part in the changing of your story. If you’d like to hear more about how that might happen, let’s talk.
